elson and Ismelda Umana have over 15 years of experience working in the international Latin cuisine industry. Collecting and perfecting traditional recipes from countries like Argentina, Peru, Mexico, El Salvador and Cuba, they now bring you El Puerto Restaurant and Grill.
hef Umana recommends you try their “Parrillada” (or Mixed Grill) on your first visit. A traditionally Argentinean dish, a “Parrillada” features an eclectic mix of select meat cuts grilled to mouth-watering perfection. You’ll be delighted with links of Argentinean sausage, strips of short-rib, a skirt steak, chicken breast, pork chop, short bread, and morcilla topped with a grilled onion (top right). Accompanied by two sides … say, yellow rice and black beans … and a glass of fresh home-made sangria; it will be an evening to remember!
f you’re not in the mood for meats, discover the delicious varieties of fresh seafood you can enjoy. The Chef suggests their “Chupe de Camarones” a comforting shrimp & seafood soup, but you won’t have trouble deciding because once you glance at the menu, you’ll start your own menu of dishes you need to try on your next visit!
hatever your mood, we welcome you and we’ll make it a point to make sure you enjoy your dining experience at El Puerto Restaurant and Grill ~ today and everyday!
